Capital Investments manages Novo Holdings’ non-life science investments, providing vital diversification to the Novo Nordisk Foundation asset base.
Established in 2005, Capital Investments has a research-driven, value-orientated investment strategy that prioritises stable, long-term gains over short-term market fluctuations. We have a global mandate within five investment areas; externally managed public equities and credits, internally managed public equities, internally managed credits and bonds, real assets, private equity and venture capital.

By year-end 2024, 20 employees work in Capital Investments at our Copenhagen-based office. The team shares a total portfolio mindset with a common focus on maximising the overall long term capital investment return.

Our investment mandate and assets
By year-end 2024, Capital Investments was allocated 41% of Novo Holdings’ investment portfolio and responsible for the management of approximately USD 13.3 billion. Approximately 59% of our portfolio is managed internally and 41% by external managers.
