Established almost 25 years ago, Novo Holdings’ Venture Investments is one of the largest and most active international life science venture investors. We invest in drug and MedTech companies that develop innovative drugs and novel technologies, providing knowledge and network to companies, in addition to capital. Our investments in life science innovators are set to grow in the next few years.
The Venture Investments portfolio includes both private and publicly traded investments in the biotechnology and medical technology sectors, spanning early-stage, translatable science through commercial stage products. Our evergreen structure and connection to the Novo Nordisk Foundation enables us to take a long-term view to advance science and medicine for the benefit of society.
Venture Investments operates globally with employees based in San Francisco, Boston, London and Copenhagen. As of year-end 2024, 29 employees work for Venture Investments. We are a transatlantic team of experienced investment professionals with MD, PhD, and MBA backgrounds, geared to respond quickly to new and exciting investment opportunities. Our size, evergreen structure, and diversification across sector, stage and geography provides an excellent training ground for venture career development.
